Guide | This is how you use Discord on PlayStation 5

As of today, the new firmware update for PlayStation 5 has released. The update adds a lot of improvements and changes, but more important is full Discord support. This is how to start a voice chat on Discord via the PlayStation 5.

It was possible on Xbox for a while: calling via Discord on your console. There you can now join a conversation in the server of your choice without any other devices. Unfortunately, it works a little less simply on PlayStation 5. That is why we explain exactly how to start such a conversation on PlayStation 5.

Things you should know:
– Having Discord conversations is only possible on PlayStation 5 and not
PlayStation 4.

– To start Discord conversations, you’ll need a phone or PC running Discord
at hand.

People who have already linked their Discord account to display your game activity on Discord will need to link their account again. That’s because new permissions have to be given to Discord in order to make calls.

Linking your Discord and PlayStation account
Before you can start a Discord conversation, you need to link your Discord and PlayStation accounts. You do this as follows:

1. Go to settings on your PS5, then to Users and Accounts and finally click on Connected Services.

2. In the next screen you will see a QR code that you can scan with your camera or by visiting https://discord.com/activate on your phone.

3. Follow the steps on the screen until your account is linked.

Start a Discord conversation on PlayStation 5
Now that you’ve linked your account, you can forward Discord conversations to your PS5. It is therefore not possible to start a conversation on your PS5 without your phone or PC. Follow the steps to start a conversation:

1. Open Discord on your phone or PC

2. Add yourself to a channel or private conversation of your choice

3. Once in a conversation, swipe up to see more options

4. Click Transfer to PlayStation

5. Click Join Call on PlayStation

6. You will receive a notification on your PS5 to join the conversation

Welcome to the God of War Ragnarok Trophy Guide! The game has a very similar structure to the 2018 God of War game. For platinum you basically need 100% completion. All Collectible Types are tied to trophies, except for Lore and Buried Treasures. There are 418 Collectibles in total. You can’t complete most areas on the first visit during the story because you’ll be missing the required skills. All the skills you need are unlocked automatically from the story. Some Collectibles don’t spawn at all until you’ve beaten the story. It’s best to focus on the story first and clean up everything after. Nothing is missable, you can return to all areas that contain collectibles after the story. The story takes around 20 hours and 100% completion another 20 hours (on easiest difficulty). There are no difficulty-related trophies, everything can be done on the lowest difficulty. There’s nothing you need to watch out for during your story run, just have fun and enjoy the game as you wish.

Step 1: Finish Story [20 Hours]

Finish the story on any difficulty. Playing on the lowest difficulty setting is fine. You can also make use of the Accessibility Settings to make it even easier.

Nothing that’s tied to trophies or 100% completion is missable. All relevant areas that contain collectibles can be revisited after the story in free-roam. A handful of story-specific sections become unavailable but they don’t contain anything for completion or trophies, so it’s of no consequence. If you forgot to pick up items dropped by enemies they are automatically placed in the blue chest at the blacksmith. There’s no way to miss anything.

Just like the previous God of War game, it’s impossible to get all Collectibles on the first visit. You won’t have the necessary abilities, they are unlocked later in the story. Some collectibles don’t spawn at all until after the story (Remnants), they cannot be found until you reached the endgame. So don’t worry about Collectibles for now, it’s impossible to complete them during the story. Grab what you find by yourself, then backtrack for the rest after the story.

Step 2: Follow a Collectible Guide for 100% Completion [20 Hours]

Even though the trophy list doesn’t outright mention some collectible types, you basically need everything. For example, you also need all 48 Odin’s Ravens to get one of the Relics/Hilts as a reward. To fight Hrolf you must get all Berserker Gravestones. To get all Apples/Horns you need the Nornir Chests. To fully repair the Amulet of Yggdrasil you need the Legendary Chests because they contain the parts. Accessing certain areas requires doing Favors so they are needed too. 100% Completion will also help you reach Gear Level 9 (maximum) to stand a chance against the Level 9 bosses Hrolf and Gna.

The only collectible types not directly tied to trophies are Lore and Buried Treasures. Everything else is needed for trophies.

Game Guide | A Plague Tale: Requiem

Achievement / Trophy guide

Overview:
– Estimated achievement difficulty:  3/10
– Offline: 36 (1trophy, 4trophy, 9trophy, 22trophy)
– Online: 0
– Approximate amount of time to 1000 / Platinum: 20-25 Hours
– Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 2 (one on Narrative difficulty, one New Game+ to max out remaining Skills)
– Missable achievements  : 3 Sneaky trophy, Fighter trophy, Malignant trophy– maxing out all Skills (Prudence / Aggressive / Opportunism) is semi-missable. The Skills are increased by playing a certain way and doing certain actions in enemy encounters (be stealthy / kill enemies in combat / use alchemy for chain reactions). The Skill Progress carries over into 2nd playthrough New Game+ but there is no 3rd playthrough New Game++. So if you finish New Game+ but didn’t max out a Skill you would have to replay parts of the game via Chapter Select (it resets your progress to what you had at the start of the Chapter and you must replay everything from there). This is explained in Roadmap Step 2, no need to worry about Skills on the 1st Playthrough, they will all increase a bit automatically without trying, then in 2nd playthrough you adjust your playstyle until you finished one skill, then readjust your playstyle to max out the next skill.
– Does difficulty affect achievements: No, can do everything on Narrative difficulty (Easy)
– Unobtainable/glitched achievements : No
– Level Select after Story?: Yes, there is Chapter Select after the story. Everything can be replayed via Chapter Select. Everything carries over into New Game+ (Collectibles, Skills, Upgrades, anything related to trophies). You can get all Collectibles via Chapter Select, none of them are missable.
– Extra equipment needed: No

Step 1: Play through Story on Narrative (Easy) Difficulty, Get All Collectibles

For the first step simply complete the Story while getting all Collectibles: 21 Souvenirs, 12 Hugo’s Herbaria (called 5 Flowers and 7 Feathers in trophy list), 10 Secret Chests, 24 Tool Chests for the upgrade-related trophies, 16 Old Protector’s Items. It’s highly advised to play on Narrative difficulty (Easy) because it spawns more Knives, needed to open the 10 ‘Secret Chest’ Collectibles. At higher difficulties you may find yourself locked out of some Collectibles due to not having enough Knives. New Game+ also spawns fewer Knives which is why it’s better to do Collectibles on the first playthrough.

Here is a great guide for obtaining all collectibles in your first run.

Important things to keep in mind:

  • [IMPORTANT] DON’T use Knives against enemies! Knives are one-use only and instantly break if used to kill an enemy. This would leave you unable to open the 10 Secret Chest Collectibles, they require 1 Knife each. Sometimes you automatically use a Knife to defend from a killing blow, if this happens restart checkpoint/section immediately. If unsure, check the :r1: Item Wheel (bottom right corner) whether you still have a Knife or not. Try to always keep 1 Knife for the next Secret Chest Collectible! The Knives are included in the Collectible Guide & Walkthrough. If you reach a Secret Chest but don’t have a Knife, you must use Chapter Select to replay everything from the last Knife location onward.

Anything you miss can be gotten via Chapter Select. Keep in mind that Chapter Select only tracks Souvenirs and Hugo’s Herbarium (called “Flowers” and “Feathers” in the trophies but “Herbarium” in-game). The following are NOT tracked in Chapter Select: Secret Chests, Knives, and Tools.

General Note about Progression Bugs: Sometimes there can be game-breaking progression bugs such as not being able to interact with a mandatory story item. If the game seems bugged, you can double-check in the Walkthrough how it’s supposed to work. If it is indeed a bug, replaying the Sub-Chapter via Chapter Select almost always fixes it. You don’t need to replay the entire Chapter, only the Sub-Chapter.

Step 2: New Game+ Playthrough to finish All Skills, focusing primarily on “Opportunism” Skill from the Start

The only trophies you will have left after the 1st playthrough are for maxing out Skills. It’s impossible to max out all 3 skills in one playthrough. That’s why a second playthrough in New Game+ is necessary.

To start New Game+ go to Title Screen > press :circle: to see Saves > press :triangle: on completed story save to start New Game+. It won’t overwrite your old save. It creates a new save slot, you can still go back to your old save to use Chapter Select if needed.

– Extra equipment needed: No
– Release Date: October 21, 2022

Welcome to the Gotham Knights Trophy Guide! The game is set in the Batman universe but you play 4 different heroes: Batgirl, Red Hood, Nightwing, Robin. The trophy list doesn’t lock you into playing a specific character or playstyle. You can pick whoever you like best, there’s nothing missable and nothing to look out for. Your character level is shared between all 4 heroes so feel free to switch between them, you don’t have to stick to the same one. It’s best to play through the story first because it gradually unlocks side activities tied to trophies. Then do the side content and collectibles, then mop up what you have left, then start New Game+ to increase the level cap for reaching max level. It’s a pretty fun and easy platinum. Everything can be done on the lowest difficulty and completely offline solo. The Batcycle time trials are also very easy and quick. Enjoy the game any way you desire.

Step 1: Finish Main Story (6 Hours)

For the first step, simply finish the Main Story. This will make available various Side Activities, Side Quests (“Villain Cases”), Collectible Types, and Enemy Factions – all of which are tied to trophies. After the story you will have access to everything. Nothing is missable, you can do everything after the story in Free-Roam. The difficulty you pick doesn’t matter, can do everything on “Very Easy”. You don’t need to look out for anything. If you already want to work on side activities as they become available, refer to Step 2 for a list of all side content.

There are only 8 Main Missions, a story-focused playthrough takes about 6 hours including all cutscenes:

  1. Case 01: Batman’s Last Case
  2. Case 02: The Rabbit Hole
  3. Case 03: In the Shadows
  4. Case 04: The Masquerade
  5. Case 05: The Court of Owls
  6. Case 06: Jacob Kane
  7. Case 07: The League of Shadows
  8. Case 08: Head of the Demon

Step 2: Villain Cases (2 Hours), Side Activities (1-2 Hours), Collectibles (3 Hours)

After the story you will have access to all side content. Do all of the following:

Villain Cases (3 Total):

  • HQ01: Harley Quinn – trophy Get ReQ’d, trophy Working Hard or Harley Working?, trophy Universal Health Scare
  • FR01: Mr. Freeze – trophy To the Victor Go the Spoils, trophy Quartzer Life Crisis, trophy Snow Problem, trophy Cooldown
  • CF01: Clayface – trophy Something in the Clay, trophy The Show Mud Go On, trophy Rock and a Hard Place

Side Activities (40 Total):

  • 12 Secret Caches (Bruce Wayne’s Hidden Audio Recordings) – trophy Gotham City Confidential
  • 5 Secret Identity Compromised – trophy Solid Alibi
  • 7 Batcycle Time Trials – trophy Bat Out of Hell
  • 16 Training Arena Exercises – trophy Practice Makes Perfect

Collectibles (154 Total):

  • 60 Batarangs – trophy Batarang Collector
  • 42 Historia Strigidae Pages – trophy Read Owl About It
  • 12 Street Art (Murals) –  trophy Claiming the Mural High Ground
  • 40 Landmarks – trophy History Major

Step 3: Farm 250 Crimes, get Enemy-Specific Trophies, Craft Full Legendary Set (5 Hours)

At this point you will likely still need the 250 Crimes, crafting a full Legendary Set, some of the “kill specific enemy type a number of times”, and getting 50 modchips from mod fusions.

You can combine all of this nicely. Keep grinding out random crimes until you have the trophy for doing 250 total. Doing the white crimes (small crimes) counts for the 250 total. In the end-of-night results screen it will only show the number of red crimes you did, but don’t be fooled by it, the white crimes are much quicker to do and are confirmed to count for the trophy. From doing all the crimes you should also get your remaining enemy-specific trophies. They also drop lots of mods to use for mod fusions.
For the legendary crafting materials, the best way is to do “High Difficulty” Premeditated Crimes to find “Gotham’s Most Wanted” enemies, they are rare spawns that drop around 250+ legendary crafting materials. Then use the legendary materials to craft a suit, melee weapon, ranged weapon.

If you like, you can actually combine some of this step with the 4th step in New Game+, but be careful to get the trophies tied to endgame enemies out of the way first (10 Man-Bats, killing enemies from late-game enemy factions). Otherwise, you’d have to replay all of the story in NG+ to respawn those enemies. Once you start New Game+ there’s no way to go back to your 1st playthrough save, so be very sure you got everything you want before continuing with Step 4.

Step 4: New Game+ to reach Max Level (2-4 Hours)

In the first playthrough the level cap was 30. To reach Max Level (40) you have to start New Game+ from the Title Screen, available after finishing the main story for the first time on any difficulty. All your progress carries over. However, once you start, it overwrites your story progress from the 1st playthrough and there’s no way back. To get from Level 30 to Level 40 you can either farm crimes in the open world or replay half the story. It should only take about 2-4 hours if you skip cutscenes.

Introduction

Welcome to the Horizon Forbidden West New Game+ Trophy Guide! This update to Horizon Forbidden West adds a slew of new features, including the highly-requested NG+. This update also introduces three new trophies. In addition to your standard trophies for completing NG+ on any difficulty and Ultra Hard, you also need to collect a new type of Token, the Champion’s Token, which are earned by completing main and side content activities. To be able to unlock the trophy for obtaining all NG+ Rewards you need 125 Champion’s Tokens, which is equal to replaying 80% of the game.

Step 1: Complete NG+ on Story Difficulty and Obtain 95 Champion’s Tokens

It is highly recommended to do your first NG+ playthrough on Story Difficulty. The reason being that if you immediately start on Ultra Hard, you then cannot switch back to Story Difficulty after finishing the Story. You would then be locked into the highest difficulty setting for the Champion’s Tokens grind, taking a lot longer to 100% the DLC. So, rush through the Story first on Story Difficulty. Completing each Main Story quest will earn you 2 Champion’s Tokens. After completing the Story you will have 30 Champion’s Tokens. To obtain the remaining 65 Tokens, you need to complete side content. Prioritize Rebel Camps, Cauldrons, and supporting characters’ side quests as these unlock 3 Tokens each. Additionally, you can easily earn 10 Champion’s Tokens by overriding 5 Tallnecks (the story-related one doesn’t count). Simply land onto them with the Sunwing to speed things up. Everything else gives you 2 Tokens. With the exception of a couple of Errands, you can ignore anything that gives you only one Token or no Token at all. These are just not worth the hassle. Once you’ve collected 95 Tokens, you’re ready for Step 2.

Step 2: Complete NG+ on Ultra Hard Difficulty for the remaining 30 Champion’s Tokens

Now replay through the Story, but this time on Ultra Hard. Just focus entirely on the Story and skip everything else. Because Champion’s Tokens carry over from save file to save file, you now need an additional 30 Champion’s Tokens from just the Story to buy whatever you’ve got left.

Completed New Game+

Completed a New Game+ playthrough on any difficulty.
