News | PEGI reports Switch version of Metro Redux

A new report on the website of the Pan European Game Information Board, or PEGI for short, seems to indicate a Switch version of Metro Redux.

There were some rumors in October last year about a Switch version of the game after the game was mentioned by a Portuguese store site. However, since then the port has not been announced. The game is now mentioned by PEGI, although no release date has yet been given. The announcement may take place in a Nintendo Direct, which will probably be published online soon.

Metro Redux is a remaster of two games; Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light. Redux is a post-apocalyptic fps. A number of major changes have been added to Redux, such as the Ranger mode that is available in both games. Metro 2033 has been rebuilt with the same engine that created Last Light.

Developer CD Projekt Red has renewed the deal with writer Andrzej Sapkowski to continue to make games based on The Witcher books.
