News | Game of Thrones actor may appear in second season of The Witcher

Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju is likely to appear in the second season of Netflix series The Witcher.

In Game of Thrones, Hivju played the role of Tormund Giantsbane, a great and brave Wildling with a big beard and an even bigger axe.

The website Redanian Intelligence, which previously had correct information about upcoming Netflix shows, claims that Hivju will play the role of ‘Nigel’ according to callsheets. This is possibly a code name of the character Nivellen, from The Witcher book The Last Wish. This would be a “charismatic, witty man”.

Hivju’s role within The Witcher has not yet been officially confirmed. The second season of the popular series around Geralt or Rivia should be on the streaming service next year.

News | There's a rumor about an Diablo and Overwatch animated series

Netflix may be working on an animation series based on the Overwatch and Diablo franchises. Nick van Dyke, president of the film and television division of Activision-Blizzard, posted the projects on his LinkedIn account.

Nick van Dyke’s LinkedIn profile states that he is responsible for adapting Activision Blizzards intellectual property for film and TV. There is something remarkable about his job as executive producer of Skylanders Academy. “Executive producer of Diablo, a TV adaptation of Blizzard Entertainments intellectual property, rendered in anime style.” According to his profile, the show is currently in preproduction and the show will air on Netflix.

News | The Division 2 expansion Warlords of New York appears in March

Ubisoft has unveiled Warlords of New York, a new paid extension for The Division 2 that appears on March 3.

As the name suggests, the expansion takes place in New York. That is striking, because The Division 2 took place entirely in Washington DC and the first The Division was already located in New York.

The first The Division, however, was not a precise one-to-one copy of New York, and Warlords of New York must offer that – at least from a number of neighborhoods in the lower part of Manhattan, namely Battery Park, Wall Street, Chinatown and Two Bridges.

The expansion adds a new level cap of 40. Players must be level 30 and World Tier 5 to play the new campaign. In addition, there are new weapons, gear and skills in the expansion. Finally, a new raid is coming to the game in the course of spring.

Warlords of New York will be available on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from 3 March.
