News | The Outer Worlds appears on Switch in March
The previously announced Switch version of The Outer Worlds will be released on March 6.
The game was released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC last year. A Switch version was already announced at the time, but publisher Private Division said it would not be released until 2020.
The game will be available both physically and digitally, but the physical version does not contain a cartridge. Instead, there is a download code in the box to download the entire game. The format of the game is not yet known.

News | New Apex Legends hero is Revenant
The new playable hero for Apex Legends is known: it is Revenant.
Respawn Entertainment previously hinted at Forge as a new character, but he was murdered by Revenant during an in-game interview this week. Now that the launch trailer of the game’s fourth season has come out, it is actually confirmed that Revenant is the new hero.
The skeletal robot was once human and the best assassin of the Mercenary Syndicate ever. In the end, Hammond Robotics turned him into “A walking nightmare of steel and meat”. Revenant seeks revenge, and can use his unnatural moves to “chase his enemies.”
The fourth season of Apex Legends starts on February 4. The game is playable on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Ninja Theory has announced the experimental game Project: Mara. "A realistic representation of spiritual terror"
The company did this with a teaser trailer and a new developer diary, in which they tell more about the studio itself and the games that are under development.
Project: The studio claims Mara becomes a realistic representation of spiritual terror. “It is based on real experiences and in-depth research, and our goal is to recreate the horror of the brain as accurately and realistically as possible. Project: Mara will be an experimental title and an example of what can become a new medium for storytelling.”
There are not many details about the game yet, except that it has to take place in one location and around one character. It is also not clear when Project: Mara should be released and on which platforms, although Xbox Series X and PC seem to be almost certain: Ninja Theory is now part of Microsoft. The game has also been announced on the official Xbox website.
In addition to Project: Mara, the developer is also preparing Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 and the multiplayer game Bleeding Edge.
News | Telltale's The Walking Dead games are coming back to Steam
The Walking Dead games from former developer Telltale Games find their way back to Steam. These are The Walking Dead Season 1, Season 2, A New Frontier and The Final Season.
Towards the end of 2018, developer Telltale Games announced that the studio had to close its doors after the last investor had pulled the money out. However, around 25 employees were left behind to finish the last things, such as Minecraft: Story Mode. LGC Entertainment later acquired many assets from Telltale Games and then revived the name in August 2019.
When it was announced in 2018 that the studio had to close its doors, the games were removed from Steam. Skybound Games, which took over the titles, made the games available through the Epic Games Store and remained available to players who had already purchased the games through Steam. Skybound Games has now announced that the four games will return to Steam sometime this week, presumably for around 15 euros each.
The Walking Dead Season 1, Season 2, A New Frontier and The Final Season are coming to Steam sometime this week.
News | God of War studio is working with motion capturing
God of War developer SIE Santa Monica Studio is working in a motion capturing studio.
This is apparent from a tweet from Kim Newman, the narrative animator at Santa Monica Studio. The tweet contains a photo of her in a motion capture suit, and she reports that “it feels good to be in the suit again”.
These kinds of suits are used to record the movements of actors and then transfer them to a game. This is also done with the God of War, published in 2018.

Although Santa Monica Studio has not yet announced a new God of War, the photo seems to indicate that they are working on a new part in the Sony franchise behind the scenes. News | Cyberpunk 2077 postponed until September 2020
Cyberpunk 2077 has been postponed to September 17. That was announced by developer CD Projekt Red tonight.
“We are currently at the stage that the game is complete and playable, but more work needs to be done,” said co-founder Marcin Iwiński and studio head Adam Badowski. “Night City is huge, full of stories, content and places to visit, but because of its scale and complexity, we need more time to test, fix and refine things.
We want Cyberpunk 2077 to be our crowning achievement of this generation and the delay gives us the valuable months to perfect the game.”
CD Projekt Red promises to share news more regularly around the game as the release date approaches, which was initially scheduled for April this year.

News | Proceeds Modern Warfare DLC are donated to forest fires Australia
Infinity Ward has announced that all proceeds from the Outback expansion will be donated to the Australian fire relief fund to fight the serious Australian forest fires.
The name of the expansion package is also being changed, from now on the dlc is called The Outback Relief Pack. Infinity Ward has indicated that this applies to all revenues from the dlc, including packages that have already been sold.

News | Pokémon Sword & Shield will get two expansions
The Switch games Pokémon Sword and Shield get two expansions, The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra.
Both expansions are part of an Expansion Pass that can be purchased via the eShop for 29.99 euros. Instead of developing new Pokémon games that take place in the same region as previous titles, developer Game Freak wants to offer current players new adventures this way.
The Isle of Armor appears at the end of June and has ‘growth’ as its theme. This huge island on the coast of Galar is full of unspoilt nature, beaches and swamps. There is a dojo where players are taught by mentor Mustard, who previously taught the champion Leon. The new legendary Pokémon is Kubfu, a fighting type that can evolve to Urshifu. In addition, the expansion includes new tutor moves, items of clothing and skins for the bike.
Second expansion The Crown Tundra is all about ‘exploring’ and will be released this fall. Players become the leader of a discovery team in this snowy area, and can find the legendary pokémon Calyrex, a psychic / grass type. News | Sony reveals Playstation 5 logo
Sony unveiled the PlayStation 5 logo during its presentation at the Consumer Electronics Show last night.
The PS5 logo, which can be seen below on both a black and white background, has the same design as the PS4 logo.
The various possibilities of the PlayStation 5 were also confirmed during the presentation. There is 3D sound, there are haptic triggers on the controller, the system contains an ultra-high speed solid state drive, there is ray tracing and there is support for ultra high-definition blu-rays.
“PlayStation 5 will inspire developers to create expanded worlds with new gameplay experiences that are more immersive than ever in how they look, how they sound and how they feel,” said Sony Interactive Entertainment President Jim Ryan.
It is not known when Sony will announce more details about the PlayStation 5. For example, games for the console still have to be revealed, as well as the design of the device. PlayStation 5 should be available in stores at the end of this year.
