News | Black Dualsense controller for PlayStation 5 photos revealed

The Federal Communications Commission in the United States has released photos of a black Dualsense controller for the PlayStation 5.

The independent committee regulates electronics and regularly records products it evaluates. The nine images show a completely black Dualsense, where the regular controller contains black and white colors.

It is the second time that the FCC has laid down a black version of the Dualsense. It is striking that the buttons were white at the time, whereas the more recent version only contains black buttons.

The controller may be intended for PlayStation 5 development kits and not for sale. It is still unclear whether a black version of the Dualsense will appear.

The regular Dualsense ships with the PlayStation 5, which launches on November 19. In the United States, however, accessories appear to be hitting stores on October 30, well before the November 12 release date.

News | New gameplay and screenshot from Spider-Man: Miles Morales

New screenshots and gameplay footage of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales have been released.

The images are part of the cover story of the most recent issue of Game Informer. Gameplay footage shows Miles Morales taking on an in-game boss, while screenshots show Morales zooming through Manhattan.

Just like in the previous game, Manhattan has been divided into different districts, in which all kinds of crimes can be stopped. The soundtrack focuses on hip-hop, including original and licensed songs by Kid Cudi and Jaden Smith.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a stand-alone Spider-Man game set in the same game world as Marvel’s Spider-Man. The game has a completely new story that revolves around Miles Morales. There is a special edition of PlayStation 5 that will also include a remaster of Marvel’s Spider-Man. The game will be released on PS5 and PS4 on November 19th.

News | Godfall players must always be online

To play Godfall, gamers must always be online.

This is evident from the official page of the PlayStation 5 version of the game. There must always be an online connection, even if people play alone. That means a PlayStation Plus subscription is also required to play Godfall.

Godfall has drop-in / drop-out cooperative gameplay that runs throughout the campaign. That way, players can ask for help from others. However, even if you plan to play the game on your own, an online connection and thus PlayStation Plus is required.

Godfall was revealed at The Game Awards late last year. The new game from Gearbox is described as a combination between a slasher and a looter. The third-person fantasy game focuses on melee combat and was developed by Counterplay Games. Players can unlock legendary weapons and armor and play with up to four people.

Godfall will be released on the Epic Games Store on November 12 and on PlayStation 5 a week later, along with the launch of the console.

News | PlayStation 5 fan will be quiet compared to PS4 fan

The fan of the PlayStation 5 is said to be very quiet compared to the fan in the PlayStation 4.

Japanese publications have gone hands-on with the PlayStation 5, and 4Gamer reports after the hands-on that the upcoming console’s fan makes very little noise. This is striking, as the fan in the PlayStation 4 is known for its clearly audible sound.

4Gamer reports that the console remains silent even when playing graphically demanding games like Godfall. The PlayStation 5 was tested by the release in a room that was at room temperature. During game play, the air coming out of the console was not noticeably warm. “We could barely hear the rotating fan noise.”

“I noticed that the sound the console made while it was on is very quiet,” they continue at 4Gamer. “I quickly forget because I focus on gameplay, but the console didn’t make a roaring noise when I got close to it. The PS4 fan is much more noticeable when the console has to work hard – the one in the PlayStation 5 is much less noticeable. “

The PlayStation 5 will be available on November 19th

News | Leaked photos of PlayStation 5 controller show battery capacity

Leaked photos of the Dualsense controller for PlayStation 5 may show the device's battery capacity. The battery is said to contain 1560 mAh.

The photos come from Twitter user Galaxy-666, who claims to make accessories for console makers like Sony and Microsoft. The controller is currently being tested to make peripherals compatible.

If the figures are correct, the Dualsense has about one and a half times more battery capacity than the Dualshock 4, which has a battery of 1000 mAh. According to previous rumors, the controller lasts three to four hours longer than the Dualshock 4.

Sony has not yet officially released specifications or price of the Dualsense. The controller is included with the PlayStation 5, which will be released this fall.
