The nominations for The Game Awards 2022 were announced yesterday.

The various nominations have been chosen by more than a hundred media publications and influencers, including the editors of Gamer.nl and sister site Power Unlimited.

It is striking that God of War Ragnarök has the best chance of winning an award with ten nominations. Elden Ring and Horizon Forbidden West have each been nominated seven times, and Stray has six nominations to his name.

It was also recently announced that The Game Awards is partnering with Discord this year. As a result, an official Discord server of The Game Awards will become available, where people can watch the show live together and vote on nominations.
