News | Gameplay and Collector's Edition of Elden Ring Revealed

Bandai Namco has shown 15 minutes of new gameplay footage of Elden Ring. The collector's edition of the game is also shown.

The gameplay, which comes from the PC version of the game, shows more of the game world, aka the ‘Lands Between’. For example, viewers see a Site of Grace, the Bonfires of this game. A gigantic dragon is also shown, the map of the game can be seen and there is a lot of riding on a horse.

At the end of the gameplay, a collector’s edition of the game was also shown, of which a photo can be seen below. This includes not only the game, but also a steelbook, artbook, digital soundtrack and image. In addition, there is a premium collector’s edition that includes all of the above, as well as a replica of the game’s main character’s helmet.

Elden Ring was announced in 2019 by publisher Bandai Namco and developer FromSoftware. The latter is the developer of games such as Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. A Song of Ice and Fire writer George R.R. Martin helped write the story. The game will be released on February 25, 2022 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC.


News | Elden Ring Coming January 21, 2022, First Gameplay Shown

Elden Ring, the new game from FromSoftware, will be released on January 21, 2022. The first gameplay images were also shown.

That happened during the Summer Game Fest show tonight. The new game is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC.

The trailer shows, among other things, the game world, with a large, glowing tree in the middle and many ruins scattered across the landscape. You can also see how a knight rides on a horse through the game world. Various monsters come his way, which he slaughters with his sword. There are also some gigantic creatures to be seen. Later in the trailer you can see a battle against a large dragon, as well as several gothic buildings.

News | Elden Ring trailer leaked

A leaked Elden Ring trailer is circulating in chat groups. That confirms Video Games Chronicle.

The footage, which doesn’t seem to be the full trailer, shows gameplay footage of the upcoming soulslike. For example, a ‘fire-breathing dragon, a great enemy with a sword and fighting on horseback in a large open environment’ are shown. A release date has not yet been announced.

According to VGC sources, the game has been postponed several times internally due to the pandemic. As a result, the game would probably no longer be released this year.

The leaked trailer indicates that an announcement surrounding Elden Ring is imminent. Several journalists recently announced that FromSoftware will probably share more about the game this month. Yesterday, Aaron Greenberg, head of marketing at Xbox, announced that Microsoft is not making the disclosure.

Elden Ring was announced at E3 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

According to irgomania, one of the largest Russian game websites, fromSoftware’s  Elden Ring will be  showed to the press during Gamescom 2019.

Unfortunately for the visitors, the game will not be shown publicly. Igromania claims to be present at the presentation of the game and to share ‘all details’.

The message is striking, because Bandai Namco recently announced the Gamescom line-up and the game was missing. Many of the titles below have also been shown during E3 2019 and are present in Hall 6 at booth B 41. One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is playable for the first time.

The Elden Ring is a cross-gen title that is being developed in collaboration with Game of Thrones creator George R. R. Martin. The game must become a ‘natural evolution’ of Dark Souls including an open world. Dark Souls director Hidetaka Miyazaki also revealed that players can ride horses and fight on horseback. A release date for The Elden Ring is not yet known.

Game of Thrones and Dark Souls are colliding. A trailer for a new From Software game called Elden Ring was shown at E3 2019’s Microsoft press conference.

Gamescom 2019 takes place from the 20th to the 24th of August.
