News | Elden Ring trailer leaked

A leaked Elden Ring trailer is circulating in chat groups. That confirms Video Games Chronicle.

The footage, which doesn’t seem to be the full trailer, shows gameplay footage of the upcoming soulslike. For example, a ‘fire-breathing dragon, a great enemy with a sword and fighting on horseback in a large open environment’ are shown. A release date has not yet been announced.

According to VGC sources, the game has been postponed several times internally due to the pandemic. As a result, the game would probably no longer be released this year.

The leaked trailer indicates that an announcement surrounding Elden Ring is imminent. Several journalists recently announced that FromSoftware will probably share more about the game this month. Yesterday, Aaron Greenberg, head of marketing at Xbox, announced that Microsoft is not making the disclosure.

Elden Ring was announced at E3 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

News | Bethesda will not host a digital E3 presentation

According to Bethesda's Pete Hines, the game company will not be making a digital presentation in June.

Because the E3 has been canceled, many publishers are expected to give digital presentations during that period. Some companies have already confirmed that they will do so. However, head of marketing Pete Hines has now indicated that this is not going to happen for Bethesda.

“Due to the many challenges posed by the pandemic, we will not be hosting a digital showcase in June. We have many exciting things to share about our games and look forward to telling you more in the coming months.”.

Announcements about the publisher’s games may no longer be bundled, but may be released during the year. However, whether we will hear more about Starfield or The Elder Scrolls 6 in 2020 remains unconfirmed.

Highlighted | Elden Ring present during Gamescom 2019

According to irgomania, one of the largest Russian game websites, fromSoftware’s  Elden Ring will be  showed to the press during Gamescom 2019.

Unfortunately for the visitors, the game will not be shown publicly. Igromania claims to be present at the presentation of the game and to share ‘all details’.

The message is striking, because Bandai Namco recently announced the Gamescom line-up and the game was missing. Many of the titles below have also been shown during E3 2019 and are present in Hall 6 at booth B 41. One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is playable for the first time.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4

Cross gen

The Elden Ring is a cross-gen title that is being developed in collaboration with Game of Thrones creator George R. R. Martin. The game must become a ‘natural evolution’ of Dark Souls including an open world. Dark Souls director Hidetaka Miyazaki also revealed that players can ride horses and fight on horseback. A release date for The Elden Ring is not yet known.

Game of Thrones and Dark Souls are colliding. A trailer for a new From Software game called Elden Ring was shown at E3 2019’s Microsoft press conference.

Gamescom 2019 takes place from the 20th to the 24th of August.
