News | The Hunter from Remnant 2 highligted

A new trailer for the upcoming Remnant 2 shows off the Hunter, one of the classes players can choose from.

The Hunter was also in Remnant: From the Ashes. This class focuses on long-range attacks. “They can easily spot and eliminate targets… often even before combat begins.”

The sequel to the third-person shooter Remnant: From the Ashes was announced late last year. Players once again face deadly monsters and bosses. They can do this alone or in pairs. The first Remnant was notable for its mishmash of elements from other genres. For example, many elements were randomly generated as with a roguelike, and the difficulty level was often reminiscent of soulslikes.

Remnant 2 releases on July 25 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.

News | PS5 and Xbox Series versions of Biomutant in the works

Later this year, Biomutant will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S, both as a standalone game and as an upgrade.

The game will be available for purchase for modern consoles starting September 6. On that day, owners of the old version of the game will also be able to download the update for free. A 4k resolution, support for HDR and a frame rate “up to 60 fps” are added.

On PlayStation 5 you can choose between three modes. Quality maintains a 4k resolution and 30 fps, Quality Unleashed aims for a 4k resolution and averages the frame rate around 50 to 60 fps, and Performance is a constant 60 fps at 1440p resolution. In addition, the PS5 version uses the DualSense options – such as adaptive triggers, haptic feedback and sound from the speakers – and Activity Cards. On Xbox Series X, the three quality options described above are the same. On Series S, Quality and Quality Unleashed offer 1440p and Performance offers 1080p.

Biomutant came out last year. The game was already playable on the new consoles, but only through backward compatibility. In the colorful action game, players control a self-made mutated creature. Players can equip their character with all kinds of new skills during the game by having the main character mutate.
