Telltale Games has delayed The Wolf Among Us 2;. The game will no longer be released in 2023.
The developer announced this yesterday. Telltale CEO Jamie Ottilie gave more context to IGN. For example, during the development of Unreal Engine 4, a switch was made to Unreal Engine 5, which “produced quite a bit of work”.
Ottilie reports that they should have worked too hard to release the game in 2023, or that the development could not have been completed properly as a result. “If we released this game before it was ready, we would be destroyed. Expectations are high and we want to live up to them. We want to be proud of it and deliver the best game possible.”

The Wolf Among Us is based on the acclaimed Fables comics, where characters from fairy tales live alongside humans in the real world. The first season, which appeared in 2013 and 2014, was appreciated by many players. The Wolf Among Us 2 is due out on Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, and Xbox One.
News | Gearbox announces new Tales from the Borderlands
Gearbox has announced that it is working on a new Tales from the Borderlands. The game is scheduled for release in 2022. Unfortunately this time Tales without Telltale.
That was revealed during the Gearbox presentation at Pax East in Boston. The game is published by 2K and developed by Gearbox. This project has been secretly worked on for years. In the game, players get to work with new characters and new stories.

The first Tales of the Borderlands was released in 2014 and was still being developed by Telltale Games. That studio went bankrupt in November 2018. The game was based on Borderlands 2 and took players through the story in five episodes. It is not yet known what the new game will be about.

A livestream will be broadcast tomorrow, giving a behind-the-scenes look at the development of Telltale Games' The Wolf Among Us 2.
The livestream will be broadcast tomorrow at 19:00 Dutch time via YouTube and Twitch. The stream – which can also be seen below – should last approximately thirty minutes and will also include an official trailer and in-game footage. Geoff Keighley – the organizer and host of The Game Awards – presents the stream.

News | Telltale's The Walking Dead games are coming back to Steam
The Walking Dead games from former developer Telltale Games find their way back to Steam. These are The Walking Dead Season 1, Season 2, A New Frontier and The Final Season.
Towards the end of 2018, developer Telltale Games announced that the studio had to close its doors after the last investor had pulled the money out. However, around 25 employees were left behind to finish the last things, such as Minecraft: Story Mode. LGC Entertainment later acquired many assets from Telltale Games and then revived the name in August 2019.
When it was announced in 2018 that the studio had to close its doors, the games were removed from Steam. Skybound Games, which took over the titles, made the games available through the Epic Games Store and remained available to players who had already purchased the games through Steam. Skybound Games has now announced that the four games will return to Steam sometime this week, presumably for around 15 euros each.
The Walking Dead Season 1, Season 2, A New Frontier and The Final Season are coming to Steam sometime this week.

The Wolf Among Us 2 was again unveiled during The Game Awards.
The second series of episodes of The Wolf Among Us was already announced a few years ago, but then developer Telltale closed its doors in 2018. LCG Entertainment purchased most assets and also took over the Telltale name. The Wolf Among Us 2: A Telltale Series is now in development again. The development is done by AdHoc Studio, where various former Telltale employees work.
