Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is due out sometime this winter.

That was announced yesterday during the Summer Game Fest presentation through a new trailer, which can be viewed below. The new trailer revolves around the game’s cooperative campaign. There is no exact release date at the time of writing, but it is clear that the game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.

The sequel to the 2011 action game based on the Warhammer universe lets players once again control Lieutenant Titus. Just like in the first part, players use a variety of weapons and deadly moves to slaughter enemy Tyranids. According to the makers, one can expect “epic battles on distant planets”.


News | Cuphead Expansion The Delicious Last Course Shown

The upcoming expansion for Cuphead, The Delicious Last Course, was showcased during Summer Game Fest through new gameplay.

The video shows gameplay in which the character Ms. Chalice takes on a new boss. ms. Chalice is a new playable character including new moves. When unlocked, she can also be controlled in the original game. The dlc also includes a new area called Inkwell Isle with new bosses, as well as new weapons.

The Delicious Last Course will be released on June 30, although the expansion should have been released in 2020. The DLC is coming to all platforms where the full game is also available on: Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Steam and GOG.


News | New Nightingale Trailer From Former Bioware Employees

Inflexion Games released a new trailer of Nightingale tonight. The game is coming to PC later this year.

That happened during the Summer Game Fest show tonight. The game was already unveiled at The Game Awards last year, and it won great prizes with its fanciful graphics. Also notable is that development is led by Aaryn Flynn, formerly the general manager at Bioware, as well as other former employees.

Nightingale revolves around the Realmwalker, with which players travel through different, dangerous dimensions and must survive. Players can do this alone or with other survivors. Either way, there are all kinds of monsters and the magical Fae to fight.

Nightingale will be released in Early Access for PC later this year. Earlier this year, it was announced that Tencent has acquired the developer, but Flynn continues to lead the studio. The game is now going to be released by the Tencent label Level Infinite, founded late last year


News | Warhammer 40,000: Darktide shows off with a new trailer

A new trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has been released.

The trailer was shown during the Summer Game Fest show. The game, which, like its Warhammer: Vermintide predecessors, resembles Left 4 Dead in gameplay, is shown extensively in the trailer.

Darktide is set in the city of Tertium, where players take on the role of the Imperial and Chaos factions and fight a la Left 4 Dead with its four hordes of zombie-like enemies.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide was announced earlier this year for PC (via Steam) and Xbox Series X and S on September 13. The game will also be on Game Pass.


News | First artwork of The Last of Us multiplayer game shared

Sony and Naughty Dog have revealed the first artwork for the upcoming The Last of Us multiplayer game. The game revolves around new characters.

The artwork was shown during the Summer Game Fest presentation, where Naughty Dog boss Neil Druckmann was on hand to report that the game is going to be very big, “just as big as our single player games and bigger in some areas”.

As previously announced, it is to be a standalone multiplayer game in The Last of Us universe. According to Druckmann, players can count on completely new characters and even a story is told. The game is set in a different location from the US. Judging by the artwork, it’s about San Francisco.

The development of the game is led by people who worked on The Last of Us and Uncharted, including Vinit Agarwal, Anthony Newman and Josepth Pettinati. More details are not yet known.


News | The Last of Us Remake Officially Announced

During the Summer Game Fest show, The Last of Us remake, called The Last of Us: Part 1, was officially unveiled.

Sony has accidentally confirmed the existence of a remake of The Last of Us called The Last of Us: Part One. This was done through a page on the PlayStation Direct store. The page does not display anything now, but the content can still be read in places such as game forum ResetEra. The game has been rebuilt from the ground up for PlayStation 5, including improved controls, exploration and combat, runs at 60 fps and has improved AI. The game includes both The Last of Us campaign and DLC Left Behind.

The game will be released on September 2 on PlayStation 5. A PC version is also in the works. The game will be available for purchase full-priced.


News | Nightwing takes center stage in new Gotham Knights trailer

During the Summer Game Fest Kick Off Live show, a new trailer of Gotham Knights was shown, featuring the character Nightwing.

The action-packed trailer can be viewed below. In Gotham Knights, players take on the role of Nightwing, Red Hood, Robin and Batgirl. The game should have a dynamic and interactive open world that houses famous villains such as the Court of Owls.

Gotham Knights will be released on October 25 for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S.


News | Summer Game Fest showcase will be held on June 9th

The Summer Game Fest Kick Off Live show will be held on June 9. Which is three days for the Microsoft and Bethesda presentation.

As announced by Geoff Keighley . The show will air at 8:00 PM Dutch time and is set to feature “huge new game announcements, world premieres and special guests.”

Summer Game Fest, hosted by The Game Awards organizer Geoff Keighley, was first held in 2020 when E3 was also canceled. Then announcements were unveiled throughout the summer. However, in 2021 the event kicked off with a show called Kick Off Live, which, with all sorts of game announcements and trailers, is similar to other similar presentations, such as The Game Awards and the Gamescom: Opening Night Live show. This show will continue again this year.

Keighley has also announced a partnership with IMAX that will allow people in the United States to watch Summer Game Fest and The Game Awards which areĀ  held in December in IMAX theaters.

E3 is canceled this year, but slowly but surely various presentations are announced for the weekend in which E3 is normally held.


News | In-game screenshots of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands shown

In-game screenshots of the upcoming Tiny Tina's Wonderlands have been released.

The Borderlands spin-off was unveiled at the opening of Summer Game Fest last week. However, that reveal trailer was very cinematic, with the screenshots below giving a better idea of what players see during the game.

Players can create and customize their own heroes in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands and search for loot just like in the Borderlands games. You take on the dangerous Dragon Lord and many other monsters in an imaginatively designed game world. Tiny Tina creates this game world and changes the rules constantly.

The game features a cooperative playable campaign for up to four players. Characters such as Captain Valentine who is voiced by Andy Samberg, robot Frette (Wanda Sykes) and Tiny Tina (Ashley Burch) regularly appear. The Dragon Lord is played by Will Arnett.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will be released sometime in early 2022 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Steam, and Epic Games Store.


News | Elden Ring Coming January 21, 2022, First Gameplay Shown

Elden Ring, the new game from FromSoftware, will be released on January 21, 2022. The first gameplay images were also shown.

That happened during the Summer Game Fest show tonight. The new game is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC.

The trailer shows, among other things, the game world, with a large, glowing tree in the middle and many ruins scattered across the landscape. You can also see how a knight rides on a horse through the game world. Various monsters come his way, which he slaughters with his sword. There are also some gigantic creatures to be seen. Later in the trailer you can see a battle against a large dragon, as well as several gothic buildings.

Elden Ring was announced in 2019 by publisher Bandai Namco and developer FromSoftware. The latter is the developer of games such as Dark Souls, Bloodborne and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. A Song of Ice and Fire writer George R.R. Martin helps write the story. Until tonight, no new footage of the game had been shown since the game was announced.
