Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Croteam have revealed new gameplay from The Talos Principle 2.
The new gameplay was revealed through a trailer during the Devolver Digital Direct that aired tonight. The trailer showcases new environments and puzzles, as well as tools and other resources players use to solve the riddles.
The puzzles are often incorporated into the game world. For example, it shows how the floor can be rotated and turned to create a path. There is also a puzzle in which the player has to reach laser devices at different positions and runs into a wall.
The Talos Principle 2 was revealed during the May 24 PlayStation Showcase. The game will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

A sequel to indie hit The Talos Principle is being worked on. The first images were shown during the PlayStation Showcase.
It has been known since 2016 that the game is in development, but it is the first time that images have been shown. The sequel is again being developed by Croteam and published by Devolver Digital and is due out sometime later this year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.
The 2014 original was praised for its strong environmental puzzles. This sequel should contain new types of puzzles, environments and secrets. This time gravity can also be manipulated. The game takes place in a world where humanity has become extinct, but robots and cats keep human culture alive.
