A sequel to indie hit The Talos Principle is being worked on. The first images were shown during the PlayStation Showcase.
It has been known since 2016 that the game is in development, but it is the first time that images have been shown. The sequel is again being developed by Croteam and published by Devolver Digital and is due out sometime later this year on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.
The 2014 original was praised for its strong environmental puzzles. This sequel should contain new types of puzzles, environments and secrets. This time gravity can also be manipulated. The game takes place in a world where humanity has become extinct, but robots and cats keep human culture alive.
