News | Lion King update coming to Disney Dreamlight Valley on April 5
Update 4 for Disney Dreamlight Valley will be released on April 5, adding content based on The Lion King, among other things.
Gameloft hasn’t yet published a complete list of the content, but some things were shown during a Nintendo Direct last February. It is clear that The Lion King kingdom will be added to the game, as well as characters Simba and Nala.
It will be the sixth kingdom in Dreamlight Valley after the worlds of Toy Story, Frozen, Wall-E, Moana, and Ratatouille. The addition of Simba and Nala brings the game to a total of twenty-five playable characters. It remains to be seen what other content will be added via the update.
In the free-to-play Disney Dreamlight Valley, players with their own avatar visit a village destroyed by a mysterious event called The Forgetting. Players must rebuild this village according to their own taste and unravel the mystery behind this event. Ties are also created with various well-known Disney and Pixar characters.
The game is playable on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
