News | Update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077 now available

The free update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077 rolled out yesterday.

CD Projekt Red has published the patch notes on the game’s official website. Many changes that were announced during previous presentations can be read again.

For example, the update adjusts the police system, shooting can be done from a vehicle, tires can be punctured, the AI of enemies and NPCs has been improved, there are new perks to unlock and various other improvements and bug fixes are implemented.

CD Projekt Red recommends that players start a new game to get the best experience with the various improvements being made. The system requirements of the PC version have also been adjusted. The update is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.

As previously announced, the paid expansion Phantom Liberty will be released on September 26 for the PS5, Xbox Series and PC versions of the game. Players explore the new Dogtown area, with new missions and dynamic events, new clothing, weapons and cyberware.
