News | New South Park game in development with series creators
The makers of South Park are also working on a new game based on the series.
South Park creator Matt Stone himself confirmed this, according to Bloomberg. Earlier this week, it was announced that the South Park makers have signed a $900 million deal with Paramount and ViacomCBS. The deal covers six seasons of the series, a movie, fourteen spin-offs and a “3D video game”.
The past two South Park games were developed by Ubisoft, but that doesn’t seem to be the case now. The makers of the series are said to have set up their own in-house studio to make the game.

It is not yet clear what the game entails. Matt Stone and his colleague Trey Parker have long wanted to combine a South Park game with an open world RPG, similar to Skyrim. Perhaps a new game will take up that concept.
