News | Tiny Tina's Wonderlands launches on Steam today
Tiny Tina's Wonderlands should be available on Steam sometime today.
It was already known that the game would also come to Steam, but it has now been announced that the release date is today. Both a standard edition and Chaotic Great edition will be available. The latter includes the game’s Season Pass. The Molten Mirrors expansion will also be released today, which includes new enemies.
Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands was released on March 25 on Epic Games Store, as well as on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. The game lets players create and customize their own heroes and search for loot like in the Borderlands games. You take on the dangerous Dragon Lord and many other monsters in an imaginatively designed game world. Tiny Tina creates this game world and changes the rules constantly. The game features a cooperative playable campaign for up to four players.
News | Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Coiled Captors Expansion Revealed
Gearbox has unveiled Coiled Captors, the first expansion for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
In this first expansion to the game, players will visit the interior of an icy mountain, home to “winter wastes, barren ruins and flooded caves”. Here, players must rescue an ancient god named Chums.
The expansion is described as a “replayable dungeon challenge”. There are four different forms of Chums for players to compete against, and each week unlocks a different form of this god. So every week the dungeon has to be traversed again to reach the god.
Completing the DLC adds content to the Chaos Chamber mode. There is also new gear and cosmetic items to unlock.
Coiled Captors comes out tomorrow and is the first of four expansions – the other three being Glotton’s Gamble, Molten Mirrors and Shattering Spectreglass. The expansions can be purchased separately or as part of the Season Pass.
