News | Henry Cavill in new armor for Season 2 of The Witcher
The creators of Netflix series The Witcher have released new photos via Twitter, showing Henry Cavills Geralt in new armor.
The armor looks a lot tighter and accentuates the muscles of Geralt of Rivia. The sword has also been given a minor makeover, according to the text in the tweet: “His emotional shield can ward off any charmer, but his trusty sword now matches his new armor.”
Last week, website Redanian Intelligence reported that The Witcher on Netflix may be getting a third season and more spin-off series. The head of the series, Lauren S. Hissrich, is said to have appeared in a database under “season 3”.

The release date of the second season is not yet known, although it is clear that the series should be released in 2021. The filming was delayed by the corona crisis.
