News | Story takes center stage in new Saints Row trailer
A new trailer for the upcoming Saints Row focuses on the game's story.
The game revolves around the character called The Boss, who wants to become the dominant gang in Santo Ileso along with his crew members Neenah, Eli and Kevin. In this fictional area, however, there are already three other gangs that hold sway: Los Panteros, the Idols and Marshall Defense Industries. It’s up to The Boss and his or her crew – and therefore the player – to compete that way thanks to the necessary violence and all kinds of criminal activities.
Saints Row is out August 23 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and PC. The game is a reboot – that means the events from previous games are no longer part of the story and the characters from those games are not in this game either.
