Konami has released the launch trailer for the Silent Hill 2 remake.
The Silent Hill 2 remake is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC this Tuesday. It was recently revealed that the game will remain a console exclusive for PS5 for at least a year – with a possible release on other consoles from October 8, 2025.
Silent Hill 2 was released on PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC in the early 2000s. It is considered by many to be the best part of the survival horror series. In the game, main character James Sunderland travels to the town of Silent Hill after receiving a letter from his deceased wife. There he finds himself in a sometimes surreal horror scenario. Apart from the setting, Silent Hill 2 has no story connections with the first part, and the game and the upcoming remake by Bloober Team are therefore accessible to new players.
