The System Shock remake was announced as a remaster in 2015 by Nightdive Studios. Later, the company announced that it was going to be a remake. Just like in the original, players will visit a space station where an A.I. has broken loose. This A.I. bears the name Shodan.
The System Shock remake is set to come to PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, and Xbox One. A release date has not yet been announced. However, there has been a demo on Steam for quite some time now.

Nightdive Studios has made it clear that the System Shock remake will not be released until 2022. New screenshots have also been released.
The game was still planned for a release at the end of this summer, but that has not been achieved. Now the game should be released sometime in 2022, although an exact release date is not known. Below are a couple of new screenshots.
