News | Viking survival game Aska revealed
Sand Sailor Studio has announced the open world survival game Aska.
The creators of games like Black the Fall and Bossgard revealed the game starring Vikings yesterday, but a closed alpha test will start on November 24. The Steam page has a link to the Discord where people can sign up for the test.
Players build their own Viking tribe with fellow players in Aska. They hunt, build, sail and fight together. Four players can work together to build a tribe and village. All kinds of computer-controlled members of the tribe can then be put to work.
Players build their own Viking ship, with which they can discover new lands and claim land for themselves. The game world is generated procedurally. Meanwhile, one must prepare for the approaching winter, when monsters from Norse mythologies appear.
Aska is due out on PC sometime in 2023.
