News | Omni-Man is coming to Mortal Kombat 1 on November 9

Starting November 9, those who have purchased the Kombat Pack can get started with Omni-Man as a playable character in Mortal Kombat 1.

NetherRealm Studios has announced this. Starting November 16, Omni-Man will be available for those who do not have the Kombat Pack.

Omni-Man comes from the comic series Invincible, which recently also had an animated series based on it on Amazon Prime. The character, also known as Nolan Grayson, comes from the planet Viltrum. Omni-Man is voiced – also in the game – by JK Simmons.

News | Mortal Kombat 1 launch trailer released

NetherRealm Studios has released the launch trailer for Mortal Kombat 1.

The trailer contains exactly four minutes of gameplay footage and videos from the game, giving a good idea of what upcoming players can expect.

In addition to a cast of playable characters, the game also contains so-called ‘Kameo fighters’ who assist players during battles. Cross-play and cross-progression will be added sometime after the game’s release. In addition, the game contains rollback netcode.

Mortal Kombat 1 releases on September 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store). People who purchase the Premium or Kollector’s Edition will get access tomorrow.
