Details about what exactly will be shown are not yet available, but actor Elijah Wood – known for the The Lord of The Rings film trilogy – has retweeted Konami’s announcement. It is therefore likely that Wood will appear in a future Silent Hill game or movie.

There have been rumors of new Silent Hill products for quite some time and art director Masahiro Ito already confirmed in 2020 that he was working on a new project. In South Korea, a product called Silent Hill: The Short Message was given an age rating. Christophe Gans, the director of the Silent Hill film, is said to have written a script for a new live action production. The Medium developer Bloober Team is often mentioned when it comes to a possible new Silent Hill game.
