Another year of new content will be coming to Hitman 3 in 2022, IO Interactive has announced.

The company has announced that. In January 2022, the content trajectory for the second year should be fully revealed, with new maps, stories, modes and surprises “that players have been asking for for quite some time”.

IO has already confirmed some new features that should come to Hitman 3 in early 2022. The game will support virtual reality on PC from January 2022. An arcade mode will also be coming to the game that month with Elusive Targets. Ray tracing will also be added to the PC version of the game sometime in early 2022.

Hitman 3 is available now on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, Switch via Cloud, Epic Games Store and Google Stadia. The game is already playable in VR on PlayStation.


News | Vaas DLC for Far Cry 6 coming out next week

The first paid downloadable content for Far Cry 6, featuring Far Cry 3 villain Vaas, will be released on November 16.

Ubisoft has announced that. Vaas: Insanity lets players take on the role of one of the most iconic villains from the Far Cry series: Vaas Monenegro. Actor Michael Mando, also known from Better Call Saul, once again provides the voice.

Players only start with a rifle in the expansion. In the roguelike-style DLC, one must unlock more and more weapons and powers to become stronger as they explore Vaas’ incarnate psyche.

Pagan: Control and Joseph: Collapse, respectively, will be released in January and March 2022, featuring the bad guys from Far Cry 4 and Far Cry 5.

Far Cry 6 is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, PC (Ubisoft Connect and Epic Games Store) and can be streamed via Google Stadia and Amazon Luna.


News | Danny Trejo Mission Added To Far Cry 6 Too Early

Far Cry 6 accidentally added a mission with actor Danny Trejo too early this week.

The mission ‘Dani & Danny vs Everybody’ was still in development and should not be released as downloadable content until December. However, an early version of the DLC was added to the game earlier this week. Below are images of the mission.

Ubisoft has released Title Update 2 for Far Cry 6, removing the mission. Furthermore, various bugs are eliminated and user-friendly additions are made. For example, it is now possible to skip the video at the beginning of the campaign. New daily and weekly challenges have also been added.


News | Spider-Man Still Has To Come To Marvel's Avengers This Year

Spider-Man is still supposed to come to Marvel's Avengers this year.

Senior game designer Scott Walters of Crystal Dynamics has informed Game Rant. Last year it was already announced that Spider-Man would come to the PlayStation version of Avengers sometime in early 2021, but after that the DLC was postponed indefinitely. It has been quiet for quite some time now around the addition of the character.

In the interview, Walters says that development of the character and associated content is still on track for release this year. “We’ve always planned to release Spider-Man for PlayStation owners in 2021. We’ll be announcing more later this year.”

Today, Black Panther and its accompanying content arrives in Marvel’s Avengers in the form of the free War for Wakanda update. Crystal Dynamics informs Game Informer that the villain Crossbones is also part of the expansion.


News | Godfall Fire and Darkness Expansion Now Available

The Godfall Fire and Darkness expansion is available now.

The Fire and Darkness expansion pits players against Moirax and the Flameblood tribe. One can explore a new area, face five new bosses and over ten new enemies. Logically, there is also new loot to unlock. New content will also be added to the Dreamstones, Tower of Trials and Lightbringer endgame content. That Lightbringer content is free to players on all systems.

The game was already available on PlayStation 5 and PC, but Godfall is now also available on PlayStation 4. Cross-play between the PS4 and PS5 versions is also possible. News | Guild Wars 2 End of Dragons Expansion Coming February 2022

The new expansion for Guild Wars 2, called End of Dragons, will be released in February 2022.

Developer ArenaNet announced this via a livestream yesterday. The third expansion for the mmo was postponed earlier this year to sometime early next year. The expansion should have been released sometime this fall. According to director John Taylor, the postponement had everything to do with the real world challenges related to the coronavirus and the way work is being done.

End of Dragons is set in the lost land of Cantha, “a multi-ethnic land of magic that inhabits the oldest group of humans in all of Tyria”. This area was featured in Guild Wars Factions, but is not accessible in Guild Wars 2 so far. The expansion adds the game’s first multiplayer mount, the Siege Turtle. Two players can ride on this. Also the possibility to fish is added.

Earlier this year, it was also announced that former Guild Wars 2 director Colin Johanson was returning to ArenaNet. Johanson left the developer in 2016 to work at Amazon on Crucible, the game that was taken offline shortly after launch.


News | New Assassin's Creed Valhalla Expansion Coming August 12

The new expansion for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, The Siege of Paris, will be released on August 12.

Ubisoft has confirmed this. Earlier this week there were already rumors about a release date on August 5, but the expansion turns out to be released an week later.

The Siege of Paris sees players travel to France to make new allies there and try to take over Paris. The DLC will be available separately as part of the Season Pass. Earlier, a previous expansion was released as part of that season pass, called Wrath of the Druids.

Ubisoft is also releasing a new patch for the game this afternoon. Patch 1.3.0 adds a lot of new content to the game, including the limited-time Sigrblot Festival, which runs from July 29 to August 19. Three new missions will be available during this festival, as well as various minigames. Also, players can unlock the ability to use one-handed swords. Furthermore, level scaling is added to the game.

On August 24, Bungie will broadcast a livestream revealing the Destiny 2 expansion The Witch Queen.

The announcement was made via the game’s official Twitter channel. The Witch Queen is one of two Destiny 2 expansions that Bungie announced more than a year ago before the launch of Beyond Light. The Witch Queen was supposed to be released at the end of this year, but has since been postponed to 2022.

Ubisoft has delayed Wrath of the Druids, the first major expansion for Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

The paid expansion should have been released on April 29, but that will no longer be achieved. The developer wants to provide the best possible experience for players. Wrath of the Druids is out now on May 13th.

In Wrath of the Druids, players visit Ireland. In this game, players are chasing a mysterious cult. Various Celtic myths are discussed. The second expansion, The Siege of Paris, should be released in the summer. It is not known whether the delay of Wrath of the Druids will affect the release of The Siege of Paris. Both expansions are part of the Valhalla Season Pass.


News | Borderlands 3 expansion Director's Cut will be released next month

Gearbox will release the new Borderlands 3 expansion Director's Cut on March 18.
