News | Second Night City Wire showcases more Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay

New footage from Cyberpunk 2077 has been shown in the new Night City Wire livestream from CD Projekt Red.

In addition to the gameplay, emphasis was also placed on the music in the game. The real existing punk band Refused takes on the role of Samurai and in the live stream band members tell how they experienced this. A new song has also been revealed, called A Like Supreme.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a massive action RPG where players explore a futuristic city called Night City. CD Projekt Red is best known for the acclaimed The Witcher games.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on November 19 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game will be playable on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X via backward compatibility when consoles launch – CD Projekt confirmed this once again during the livestream – but details of a next-gen update will follow later. As far as is known, this update will not be released until 2021.

News | CD Projekt Red unveils new vehicle for Cyberpunk 2077

CD Projekt Red unveiled a new vehicle for Cyberpunk 2077 late last week, the Reaver.

The Reaver is a custom Wraith gang vehicle based on the Quadra Type-66. The car could handle almost a thousand horsepower, according to the developer. The car is clearly an ode to the V8 Interceptor, also known as the Pursuit Special, from Mad Max: Fury Road, as the developer congratulates the people behind the five-year-old movie on the anniversary.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on September 17 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia.

News | Cyberpunk 2077 players receive free upgrade for Xbox Series X

The Xbox One version of Cyberpunk 2077 receives a free upgrade for Xbox Series X. This was announced by CD Projekt Red today.

The Cyberpunk 2077’s Twitter account of  says that they think gamers should never buy the same game twice for upgrades. “Owners of Cyberpunk 2077 for the Xbox One get the Xbox Series X upgrade for free as soon as it comes out.”

News | Cyberpunk 2077 postponed until September 2020

Cyberpunk 2077 has been postponed to September 17. That was announced by developer CD Projekt Red tonight.

“We are currently at the stage that the game is complete and playable, but more work needs to be done,” said co-founder Marcin Iwiński and studio head Adam Badowski. “Night City is huge, full of stories, content and places to visit, but because of its scale and complexity, we need more time to test, fix and refine things.

We want Cyberpunk 2077 to be our crowning achievement of this generation and the delay gives us the valuable months to perfect the game.”

CD Projekt Red promises to share news more regularly around the game as the release date approaches, which was initially scheduled for April this year.

The game appears for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

News | Cyberpunk 2077's Story takes place on a larger scale than The Witcher 3

According to Marcin Blacha, story director of CD Projekt Red, the story of Cyberpunk 2077 becomes much more comprehensive than with the developer's previous title.

The story takes place on a much larger scale and affects many more people in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. Blancha indicates this in an interview with the Polish website Inn: Poland. In The Witcher 3, the stories mainly take the form of personal dramas that only concern a number of NPCs. According to Blancha this is different in Cyberpunk 2077.

“From the maker’s perspective. Cyberpunk 2077 is a story about heroes in relation to the world, and the world itself is one of these heroes. If you ask me, the stories take place on a much larger scale instead of of small personal dramas as we know them from The Wticher, “says Blancha.

Blancha goes further by emphasizing that his favorite characters are often confused with himself. This gives him the opportunity to write emotional and deep dialogues for these NPCs. The man attaches great value to completely useless characters. “Without going into too much detail, I can reveal a list of my favorite characters. A prisoner who wants to make his dream come true during a day off, an AI who runs a complete Taxi company on his own and a smart girl who spends half of her time behind the counter of a private store and also works as a sister, “says the story director.

In addition, Blancha says that the script currently fills four books, but the man does not dare venture the exact number of words. He does indicate that not every sentence can be seen in the game. “In the end, we wrote two big volumes full of dialogue. In addition, two complete books were made full of commentary from us.

Last week it was announced that Cyberpunk 2077 will not be available at the launch of the PS5 and Xbox Scarlett.

Cyberpunk 2077 appears April 16, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

News | A Cyberpunk 2077 card game is in the making

CMON and CD Project Red have jointly announced a Cyberpunk 2077 card game. The card game is called Cyberpunk 2077 – Afterlife: The Card Game.

The card game was developed by game developer Eric M. Lang and is the first collaboration between the two parties, but certainly not the last. “I am a big fan of Cyberpunk and have been playing it since the first edition, when I was a kid I often played tabletop RPGs and the franchise has always remained true,” Lang says.

“These kind of board games are extremely popular in our studio and hopefully also with our audience, we feel honored that we can collaborate with CMON and can’t wait to share our vision with the world,” adds CD Project Red Rafal Jaki, business development manager to.

The card game takes place in the dark streets of Night City, the backdrop of Cyberpunk 2077. These streets are bursting with gangs that are constantly at war with large corporations for money, power and control. Unlike the immensely popular card game Gwent, known from The Witcher, the card game Afterlife does not appear in the game itself. The card game is therefore only physically available.

Talsorian Gamer previously also announced a new Cyberpunk tabletop RPG and was made in collaboration with developer CD Projekt Red. The board game takes place 33 years before the story of the most anticipated game of 2020: Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a sequel to the RPG board game that was conceived by Mike Pondsmith. This tabletop RPG was published in 1988 by R. Talsorian. The game was reissued in 1990 under the name Cyberpunk 2020. The first series of books have now been released and the franchise continues to grow.

Pondsmith describes the relationship between the board game and the game of CD Project Red with a Star Wars reference: “The board game of Talsorian is The Empire Strikes Back, while 2077 of CD Projekt Red more embodies the Return of the Jedi”.

News | The biggest announcements of Gamescom 2019

As you read this, Gamescom in Cologne, Germany is still in full swing. I'm already back to provide you with the latest updates. The largest game fair in the world is open to the public until Saturday. However, most announcements have already been made, often through various live streams. Below you will find the biggest announcements and news from Gamescom this year. And believe me there is some news!

Last E3, Square Enix finally revealed the first images of the highly anticipated Marvel’s Avengers, and the first gameplay images were released during Gamescom. These images revolve around the intro segment of the game and allow you as a player to get used to the five heroes you play with: Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow and Thor. There is a major catastrophe in the action game that banishes the Avengers. Five years later they have to take action again to save the world from evil.

Marvel’s Avengers will be released on May 15, 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stages.

Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to Google Stages

Speaking of Google’s upcoming streaming service, another big news item about Stadia this Gamescom is that Cyberpunk 2077 is coming to Stadia. Although Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on 16 April 2020, the Stadia version does not yet have a release date. But the big news that one of the most hyped games of the moment is also coming to Stadia is good enough for me.

Ori and the Blind Forest available on the Switch

Microsoft and Nintendo are best friends. After Minecraft and Cuphead, the Xbox One game Ori and the Blind Forest will also come to the Switch. An absolute must for Switch owners, because this beautiful-looking platformer remains completely intact on Nintendo’s hybrid system. Explore a magical world and try to survive the most challenging platform sections. Ori and the Blind Forest will play for the Switch on 27 September.

In an Indie World presentation, Nintendo also revealed many more interesting indie games for the Switch. The action games Superhot and Hotline Miami Collection are immediately available through the eShop. The colorful The Touryst by Shin’en (the makers of Fast RMX), the pixelated Eastward and the fun What the Golf also look promising.

Switch version The Witcher 3 is available from October 15

I could hardly believe it during E3: the gigantic open world action rpg The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to the Switch! During Gamescom I was provided with many more images of the Switch version and it remains unbelievable to see this game running on the hybrid console. There is now also a release date: October 15. As if this fall wasn’t full enough with potential top games! The Switch version of The Witcher 3 also includes the acclaimed expansions of the game, and therefore offers hundreds of hours of gaming fun.

Bizarre new gameplay and videos from Death Stranding.

The more I see of Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding, the more confused I get, in a strangely satisfying manner. During Gamescom he also swung a few trailers into the world that confused more than provide clarity. For example, some new characters are introduced – including an artificial fan based on game journalist and The Game Awards presenter Geoff Keighley – and we see the main character, acted by The Walking Dead actor Norman Reedus, peeing. Yes, a bit strange, but it is very relieving!

Final Fantasy 8 Remastered is available from the beginning of September.

Fans have had to wait for quite some years, but the classic Final Fantasy 8 RPG finally gets a remaster. Which is coming out on 3 September. From that moment the game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. The rpg was originally released in 1999 for the very first PlayStation and revolves around a group of mercenaries led by the stoic Squall Leonhart. New in this version are sharper graphics and new gameplay elements, including a Battle Assist option.

Enough nice announcements and trailers during Gamescom this year! Whatever platform you have, the rest of the year offers a wide variety of interesting titles. 2020 is also starting to look very tasty!
