News | Assassin's Creed Valhalla Season Pass includes Paris and Ireland

Ubisoft has announced the Assassin's Creed Valhalla Season Pass. The game will receive two paid expansions set in Ireland and Paris.

The Season Pass can be purchased separately on all systems and is also part of the Gold, Ultimate and Collector’s Editions of the game. The first expansion is called War of the Druids and will be released in the spring of 2021. Players travel to Ireland to investigate a mysterious cult.

The second expansion is called The Siege of Paris and, as the name suggests, revolves around a large-scale Viking attack on Paris. Players can “relive the most ambitious battle in Viking history”. This expansion should be released in the summer of 2021.

The Season Pass also includes some bonus content that will be available immediately upon game launch. The bonus content revolves around the legend of Beowulf. In addition to paid content, free content is also coming to Valhalla, in the form of seasonal updates and other extras. For example, the Discovery Tour returns, a Viking festival and a new game mode are coming to the game.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be available on Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Google Stadia starting November 10. The PS5 version will be available from November 19th.

News | New Assassin's Creed Valhalla trailer revolves around the story

Ubisoft has released a new narrative trailer for Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

The ‘Story trailer’ mainly shows many cut-scenes from the game and revolves around Eivor and his brother Sigurd, who want to find a new home in England. It also hints at the mysterious group called the Hidden Ones.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is set in the ninth century and features Norway and England as playable locations. Valhalla introduces new features including the ability to build your own settlements and gain power and influence. Also, players can now use a different weapon in each hand. It is also possible to play as a female character, just like in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be available on Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC and Google Stadia starting November 10. The PS5 version will be available from November 19th.

News | Game world Assassin's Creed Valhalla is even bigger than that of AC: Odyssey

The game world of Assassin's Creed Valhalla is bigger than that of the previous part in the series, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, according to Ubisoft.

Julien Laferrière, the producer of the game, reports this in a French spoken interview with YouTuber Julien Chieze. The interview was translated by Reddit.

“I would say the range is a bit wider than Assassin’s Creed Odyssey,” said Laferrière. “I don’t have the exact numbers at the moment, but we have developed not only an entire country,  England, but also a large part of Norway. There are also other secret worlds that I cannot say anything about yet. It is not a small game , it is an ambitious game, and it will provide many hours of gameplay for players. “

This is striking, because Ubisoft previously indicated that Valhalla would not be the biggest or longest game in the AC franchise. However, this was said by a spokesperson for Ubisoft, and Laferrière is actually a producer. It is also striking because Odyssey’s map of ancient Greece is awe-inspiring in size.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be released sometime this fall on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

News | Trailer Assassin's Creed Valhalla revealed

Ubisoft has shown the first cinematic trailer for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Details and screenshots have also been shared.

In the trailer we see more of the Viking theme that was revealed in a live stream yesterday. We also see action-packed battles in England, which was also hinted in the artwork of Bosslogic.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla stars as the fighting boss Eivor, the leader of a group of Normans expelled from Norway. The clan comes into battle with the Saxons, led by King Aelfred of Wessex. Set in the ninth century, the game features Scandinavia, Norway and England as playable locations.

Valhalla remains a single player game and introduces new features, including the ability to build settlements of your own and gain power and influence. Also, players can now use a different weapon in each hand. Just like in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, it is also possible to play as a female character.

The trailer shows that the game is coming to Xbox One and Xbox Series X. It has since been confirmed on Twitter that the game is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Google Stadia. On PC, the game is exclusive to the Epic Games Store and the Uplay Store. Four editions of the game have been announced: the standard edition, the Gold edition including Season Pass, the Ultimate edition with Season Pass and additional in-game items and the Collector’s Edition with a 30cm statue, steelbook and other extras.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be released late this year. A specific release date is not yet known.
