News | Virtual Reality Game Batman: Arkham Shadow Revealed

The VR game Batman: Arkham Shadow was announced yesterday.

A first teaser can be viewed below. Additionally, the official description reads as follows: “Something evil lurks in the streets. Gotham City is in danger. You are the only one who can save the city.”

It is clear that the game will come exclusively to Meta Quest 3 sometime next fall. Other VR headsets seem to be out of the question, as Oculus Studios is helping with the development. Camouflaj (known from Iron Man VR) is also helping with the development.

There are no more details about the game yet, but the complete reveal will take place at the Summer Game Fest presentation on June 7.

News | Gotham Knights beta appeared briefly on Steam

There was briefly an unannounced beta test for the upcoming Gotham Knights on Steam. Perhaps accidentally published too early?

The mention of the beta was discovered on Reddit. Although that post has since been deleted, the details of the ‘Gotham Knights Playtest’ can still be seen on SteamDB, where everything that appears on Steam is tracked. The beta would be 82.5 GB in size.

It is possible that publisher Warner Bros. accidentally published the beta too early. After all, no beta has been officially announced. As far as we know, the game, which is being developed by Batman: Arkham Origins creators Warner Bros. Montreal, out this year on PS5, PS4, Xbox consoles, and PC.

In the game, players like Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin fight against villains who take over Gotham City after Batman’s death. The game features an open world, where players take on missions solo or online with one another. In addition to the main story, the city has to ‘evolve’ and offer new content.
