Bethesda has released an update for Fallout 4 with a number of improvements and additions to the game. The update is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.

The contents of the update were previously announced via Bethesda’s Fallout blog. PC players can expect some bug fixes and widescreen support. For consoles, the update means, among other things, that players can choose between a quality and performance mode and that the game will be available in 60 frames per second. Finally, as of today, the game is also Steam Deck Verified, which means that according to Valve it is easily playable on the handheld PC.

Its of course no surprise that the update is now being released, as the Fallout series on Amazon Prime is extremely popular. A second season has already been confirmed and the player numbers of almost every game in the franchise have increased significantly.
