Deep Silver has published fourteen minutes of Dead Island 2 gameplay.
The gameplay segment takes place in Bel Air, Los Angeles. In the video, Dani, one of the six playable characters, is controlled as she has a mission to reach the Halperin Hotel.
You can see how Dani has all kinds of weapons, each of which entails a unique way of combat. She encounters various zombies, including Walkers, Shamblers and Runners, as well as so-called ‘Apex zombies’ who have mutated.
The gameplay footage also shows so-called Skill Cards , which give players unique powers, the ability to chop off limbs and the so-called Fury Mode.
Dead Island 2 will be released on April 21 on Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, and Xbox One.
