It was also announced that players will be able to control the game with the help of Alexa Game Control. Allows players to use their voice to perform in-game actions. This feature is currently only available in English in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom – it is unknown if it will be available in other countries.
Dead Island 2 was already announced in 2014, but was revealed again last August. There are six playable characters to choose from, with each character having its own personality and unique dialogues. Each ‘Slayer’ can also be fully customized via a new skill system. The game can be played in co-op for three players.
Dead Island 2 will be released on April 28, 2023 on Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, and Xbox One.
