Overwatch went offline for good last night. The sequel should be online in the course of tonight.

It was already known that Overwatch 2 would replace the first part and that Overwatch went offline for good yesterday. Players gathered on the servers last night and saw a ‘disconnected’ eventually appear on the screen (see the video below). Blizzard invited fans on social media to share their favorite moments.

Tonight also kicks off the first season, which includes 5v5 matches, new characters Sojourn and Junker Queen, the new Push mode and six new maps. The second season will start on December 6.

Tonight at 21:00 Dutch time, Overwatch 2 should then go live. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch and is free-to-play.
