During the Ubisoft Forward presentation, Ubisoft revealed the first two games that Assassin's Creed Infinity will launch, namely Codename Red and Codename Hexe.

Assassin’s Creed Infinity should become a hub of sorts for new, future Assassin’s Creed adventures. The game has already been officially announced, but has not yet been shown to the outside world. During the Ubisoft Forward presentation, the developer revealed more information about Infinity, including the first two games or stories.

Assassin’s Creed: Codename Red is currently the name of one of those two games and is set in Feudal Japan, a popular setting that fans have been asking about for years. In the short images we see a Shinobi landing on a roof. According to Ubisoft, Red will be a full-fledged open-world RPG and not the linear direction that Mirage is going.

Assassin’s Creed: Codename Hexe is a bit different than we’re used to. In the short footage, we see a dark forest with a bunch of branches in the shape of the Assassin’s Creed log hanging by a thread. The atmosphere and setting are very reminiscent of some kind of witch theme, similar to what we saw in the Wrath of the Druids expansion of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

A release date for Assassin’s Creed Infinity was not given.
