A colleague of the developers of The Last of Us Part 1 has died during the development of the remake. Naughty Dog has given him a spot in the game to honor Daniel Kinnard.

What at first looks like a sports poster turns out to be a tribute to one of the people who helped create the game. Daniel Kinnard was a producer at the Visual Arts department at PlayStation Studios, and died during the development process of The Last of Us Part 1.

Colleague Robert Morrison reports on Twitter that the Daniel Kinnard poster is in play to honor his late colleague. “This is hard for me to post. But something very special. Daniel was a producer at Visual Arts. He died during the game’s development. Naughty Dog immortalized him here. He was a fantastic person. Please share this so people can know his name.”

Kinnard passed away in March this year. Among other things, he worked as a production coordinator at PlayStation Studios Visual Arts and was previously active as a game testing analyst for a number of AAA games. Kinnard’s poster can be found in the farm with Tommy and his horses.
