Gameplay of the upcoming PlayStation 5 version of the XIII remake has been released.

The XIII remake was released as early as 2020 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, but the game was criticized by press and gamers alike. Developer PlayMagic and publisher Microids then apologized for the state of the game.

Earlier this year, Microids announced that a new studio is working on a free update for the game that should improve the experience. That update will be released on September 13. Then there will also be versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and S and Nintendo Switch.

With the new version of the game, the graphical style of the game is greatly improved and several technical improvements are made. An online multiplayer mode will also be added.

The original XIII came out in 2003 on PC, PlayStation 2, Xbox and GameCube and was developed by Ubisoft Paris. The game stood out for its colorful graphics and the voice of The X-Files and Californication actor David Duchovny. The game was also based on the Belgian comic series of the same name.
