News | Evil Dead: The Game Update Based On Army of Darkness

Army of Darkness is the third film in the Evil Dead franchise and, like the previous installments, it was directed by Sam Raimi. Ash is trapped in the film in the Middle Ages, where he has to face the undead.

The DLC for Evil Dead: The Game adds a new map based on Castle Kandar from the movie. The new map can be seen in the trailer below. Two new weapons are also added: a slow but damaging mace, and an explosive crossbow.

In addition, the game now includes an ‘exploration mode’, which allows players to freely explore any map in the game. Finally, new outfits have also been added, although you have to pay for them.

Evil Dead: The Game is an asymmetrical multiplayer game in which four players team up against the forces of the Necronomicon and must destroy an army of Deadites. A fifth player can control more powerful demons like the Kandarion Demon to thwart the four players. The game is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
