Bayonetta 3 will be playable on Nintendo Switch starting October 28.
As stated by Nintendo in a new trailer on their official YouTube account. In addition to the release date, the video also features some new gameplay footage from Platinum Games’ highly anticipated action-adventure game.
In addition, Nintendo has already given a preview of the special edition and what it contains in a press release. Called the Trinity Masquerade Edition, the pack includes a 200-page artbook with an exclusive cover page for each game in the trilogy that can be combined into a panoramic artwork. Further details, such as the price of the package, are still unknown.
The Bayonetta series revolves around the titular witch who finds herself in the middle of a battle between heaven and hell. The action games have a similar gameplay to the Devil May Cry series, where dizzying moves can be strung together via combos. Since Bayonetta 2, Nintendo has been funding the development of the games , which is why the second part has never been released on any other company’s platforms and this third part will also be released exclusively for Switch.
