Screenshots of the canceled Marvel MMO that was in the works by the developer of DC Universe Online have been released.
Ramiro Galan shared a number of screenshots of the game on ArtStation, which mainly shows the menu with which players can create their own character. Galan worked as a designer for Pixelkings, a company that was rehired to work on the game.
The description accompanying the screenshots states that the focus was on “rich colors with stylistic tones that can be seen as a tribute to Spider-Man Into the Spiderverse”. Players could have chosen between four factions: the X-Men, Shield, Avengers and Fantastic Four.
Last week it was announced that the mmo, which was mostly developed by DC Universe Online creators Daybreak Games, has been canceled. Publisher Enad Global 7 wants to focus on other projects.
