Hello Games has released the free Sentinel update for No Man's Sky.

The game has always featured enemy robots called Sentinels. The update adapts them: new types can be found, including robots that repair other robots and so-called ‘heavies’. The main addition is that players can now unlock their own Sentinel.

The update includes even more. For example, there is new narrative content around the Sentinals, there are new weapons with options such as active camouflage, and all weapons receive graphic improvements. The combat in the game should also feel smoother from now on. All contents of the patch can be viewed on the official website.

No Man’s Sky is available on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as PC. The game is also playable via Game Pass. Earlier this month, a Switch version of No Man’s Sky was announced, set to release sometime this summer. As far as we know, that version contains all published updates for the game, with the exception of VR-related content.
