Paramount Pictures has released a new trailer for the second Sonic the Hedgehog movie.
The first trailer was shown at the end of last year, but a new trailer will be shown this weekend during the Super Bowl. However, the spot can already be viewed online and can be found below.
The first Sonic the Hedgehog film, based on the Sega video game series of the same name, was a huge success, grossing nearly $320 million worldwide. Sonic’s voice is provided by Ben Schwartz, while James Marsden and Jim Carrey (Dr. Robotnik) also star. In the second Sonic the Hedgehog movie, characters Tails and Knuckles take on bigger roles.
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is set to hit theaters in April.
