Sony has announced the system requirements for the PC version of God of war.

The game supports HDR, among other things. When there is a GeForce RTX GPU in the PC, DLSS and Nvidia Reflex are also supported. Furthermore, the graphics in the game need to be improved, with higher resolutions for shadows, Ground Truth Ambient Occlusion and Screen Space Directional Occlusion.

Furthermore, the PC version can be played with controllers, although one can also use a keyboard and reprogram the buttons. The DualShock 4 and DualSense are also supported. The exact system requirements are shown in the illustration below.

God of War originally released on PlayStation 4 in April 2018 and has sold 19.5 million copies since August 2021. The PC version will be released on Steam and Epic Games Store on January 14, 2022. Santa Monica Studio is meanwhile working on the sequel God of War: Ragnarok, which should be released on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 in 2022.
