The Harry Potter game Hogwarts Legacy will not be released until sometime after the release of the Fantastic Beasts 3 movie.
That’s according to a Toy World Magazine interview with Rachel Wakley, who is responsible for consumer products at Warner Bros, it has been spotted on Reddit. She reports that two major Harry Potter releases are in the pipeline in 2022: a movie and a game. Then she mentions the movie and the game by name.
It was already known that Fantastic Beasts 3 and Hogwarts Legacy will be released in 2022, but a release date for the latter has not yet been set. The third Fantastic Beasts movie, sub-titled The Secrets of Dumbledore, hits theaters on April 15, so Hogwarts Legacy should be out sometime after that in 2022. That’s still a very spacey period, but at least fans now know not to expect the game before April 15.
