Total War: Warhammer 3 will be available on PC from February 17, 2022.
Publisher Sega and developer Creative Assembly have announced this. The game will then be available on Steam, Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store. The game will also be available immediately upon launch on Xbox Game Pass for PC.
A new trailer for the game featuring the Ogre Kingdoms Race Pack has also been released. This package is free for people who pre-order the game or buy the game in the week of launch. The DLC must be purchased separately via Game Pass. Ogre Kindoms includes Greasus Goldtooth and Skrag the Slaughterer – favorites among Warhammer fans. The trailer can be viewed below.
Total War: Warhammer 3 includes new mechanics, factions and all kinds of improvements. Also new are Survival Battles. These battles take place on enemy territory. The goal is to defend acquired points on the map from enemies. Players use earned resource materials to set up various barricades to lure enemies to a point on the map where they are easier to defeat.
After the release of Total War: Warhammer 3, Creative Assembly plans to release dlc that will combine the maps from the three Total War: Warhammer games into one large map. This will only be available to people who have purchased all three games. When exactly this will come out is not yet clear.
