Bethesda has announced The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Anniversary Edition.

The new version of the game, after the original in 2011, the Legendary Edition in 2013 and the Special Edition in 2016, will be released on November 11 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One and PC. The game was unveiled at QuakeCon last night.

The Anniversary Edition includes all of the Special Edition content, including an enhanced version of the game and its three expansions, as well as 500 elements from the Creation Club, including new missions, dungeons, bosses, and weapons. These are made by both Bethesda and players. One of the new additions is the ability to fish in the game.

People who already have the Special Edition of Skyrim can upgrade to the Anniversary Edition. It is not clear at the moment whether there are costs involved.

A next-gen upgrade of Skyrim Special Edition will also be released on November 11. This improves the look of Skyrim, but does not include the additional content from the Anniversary Edition. People with a PS4 or Xbox One version can upgrade to the PS5 or Xbox Series version of the Special Edition for free.
