Hello Games has released an Expeditions update for No Man's Sky.
Expeditions is a new mode in which players go on an expedition together. Players start on the same planet and can pursue different milestones. Rewards, including a new jetpack, ship, and weapon, will transfer to the game’s regular mode at the end of an expedition.
Hello Games says the Expedition mode changes every season and brings new rewards. At the end of each season, expeditions transfer to the game’s normal mode, where they can be continued.
The update also adds Visor Tech goggles to scan secrets in the environment, optimizes load times and allows for merging names from different saves. Visually, the heads up display has been updated and the interface is now displayed in 4K.
Expeditions is available for free download on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One and PC.
