News | Sonic the Hedgehog gets its own Lego set

Two years ago, an idea for a Lego set based on Sonic was added to Lego Ideas. This Lego Group website allows people to upload their own ideas for sets. When more than 10,000 visitors also think it is a good idea, Lego considers making a real set. That is what happened with the Sega set below.

The idea set includes Sonic, Doctor Robotnik and the Death Egg Robot. In addition, a part of the Green Hill Zone can be seen. All these elements come from various Sonic games, but the set seems to be based on Sonic Mania, released in 2017.

The fact that the idea has been approved does not mean that the set below will actually be released in this way. After approval, Lego will now start working with its own designers. There is therefore no release date or price known.
