Activision Blizzard has announced the dates for the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War betas.

Last weekend PS4 gamers were already able to test out the alpha version of the multiplayer. PlayStation 4 gamers who have pre-ordered the game will be able to try the beta on October 8-9. An open beta will be playable for everyone on the same platform from 10 to 12 October.

On Xbox One and PC, the beta will be available to pre-ordered people on October 15-16. On those days there will be another open beta on PlayStation 4.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is set after the first Black Ops and revolves around the manhunt for Soviet spy Perseus. Just like the first part, the game switches between the 1980s and the Vietnam War. Several well-known characters return, such as Mason, Woods and Hudson. The game includes a multiplayer and Zombies mode. Furthermore, Warzone is integrated into the game, with a battle pass system and free content such as weapons.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War will be released on November 13 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC. The game will also be released on PlayStation 5 on November 19.
