Square Enix heeft Final Fantasy 16 aangekondigd tijdens de PlayStation 5 Showcase.
Square Enix does not share much information about the game, which has a more medieval setting. Producer Naoki Yoshida says she will reveal more about the game next year.
The previous full-fledged Final Fantasy part, Final Fantasy 15, was released in 2016. This year, the first part of Final Fantasy 7 Remake was also released for PlayStation 4. Both games are separate from the story of Final Fantasy 16.
Final Fantasy 16 is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC. A release date has not yet been announced.
