Sony's PlayStation 5 presentation will take place on Thursday June 11 at 10:00 PM. The stream can be viewed or the YouTube and Twitch channel of PlayStation.
On PlayStation Blog, the manufacturer says that the stream is broadcast in 1080p and 30fps to simplify the production process for developers who work from home. It also recommends that viewers watch with headphones to experience ‘cool audio’.
Sony’s live stream was supposed to take place last week, but was postponed due to the Black Lives Matter protests. Now Sony has announced a new date: Thursday, June 11 at 10:00 PM, exactly a week later than planned.
Sony does not say whether it shows the PS5 itself, but does report that ‘big and small’ and ‘new and known’ studios show PlayStation 5 games during a presentation of just over an hour. It is speculated that Resident Evil 8, a remake of Demon’s Souls and a sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn, will be shown.
