A teaser trailer has also been released via Intel's Twitter channel. The video has already been removed.
Earlier this week, the video game franchise’s Twitter account suddenly came back to life after three years, prompting suspicion that an announcement for Crysis was coming soon. Later, a tweet appeared hinting at a potential remaster of the first Crysis game that was now temporarily revealed.
The remaster in the metadata can be found on the official website of Crysis, complete with an image showing all platforms. Crysis Remastered was discovered by IashMan who shared his find on Twitter. The description of the remaster states: “Crysis Remastered offers new graphics, high-quality textures and proprietary hardware from CRYENGINE – and API agnostic ray tracing for PC, PlayStation, Xbox and for the first time to the Nintendo Switch.” The tweet and the image of the remaster can be seen below.
"Crysis Remastered brings new graphic features, high-quality textures, and the CRYENGINE's native hardware- and API-agnostic ray tracing solution for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and – for the very first time – Nintendo Switch."
